• amey, I think what people are telling you is that they all think that your bike is too expensively priced, hence the lack of offers. Maybe you would get a serious offer at £400, but even that might be on the high side for them. Remember, a year's warranty is calculated into the price of all new bikes, for replacement purposes and so on. Selling a bike without a valid warranty seriously devalues such a bike, and not just by the £20 your originally took off the in-store price.

    The parts you've added on are worth nothing in comparison to a valid warranty. It's just business. If you don't price is properly for knowledgeable people to buy it (like on here), then consider selling it on eBay, where someone with less knowledge about bike prices, will think they're getting themselves a real bargain.

    People will keep on taking the pee, till the price comes down to their expectations. hope that was helpful.

    Oh, you never did say why you're selling it. Were you planning to replace it with another fgss bike, or is cycling with just the one gear proven to be too hard for you? Too many puncture maybe, or was it the wrong size? Or maybe you were credit-crunched? I only ask because you haven't had it very long.
