He had secured the made-to-measure titanium Condor Gran Fondo cycle — worth about £3,000 — to a bike rack in Gray's Inn Road with a motorcycle lock, but when he came out after the evening bulletin there was no sign of it. Parking it directly under a CCTV camera was apparently no deterrent.

Astonishing that they don't seem to have better bike parking at ITN--surely Jon must have lobbied for that before?
