Personally, I'd never get the total blackwork and I don't like it artistically. It doesn't appeal to me as I'm all about colour, but I do dig the in-your-face aspect of it. Ain't my style of tattoo but it does have that je ne sais fuck you about it. Pardon my French.
I'm not a huge fan of colour. I have few tattoos, and only the diamonds on my feet are pink, and Im not a massive fan of it, will be adding darker stuff around it.
I havent been tattooed for a few years now. Hence why I came to a consulsion(sp) that I'd like blackwork, with red/grey, having looked around for years about it. I love how it looks I guess.
@lileth-whos the guy in the first pic?
when i used to frequent bme there was a brazilian guy that looked very similar to him, face tatts, lip plate, stretched nostrils...
i'm assuming the third pic is scarfication (due to your comment as well) ?
if so, its absolutely amazing.
Rafa Gnomo is the one in the first picture, he is brasillian. :)
And yes that's Eric with scarification above his blackwork tattoo, it's stunning, you can see more here and it's done by an Aussie Scarification artist Wayne Dunn- who lives in Edmonton, Canada now.
