If the games are restricted to 5-0 then goal difference over a season would be limited to a certain spread anyway... and has a league ever been decided on GD?
I think giving the extra points for scoring more goals would give the games an extra incentive during the season.
Is it in rugby where they changed the points scoring, so that people would go for more tries rather than just drop kicks or penalties? That is sort of influencing what I am thinking of.
But hey, thats just my €0.02. I havent played in a league before & possibly/probably wont be playing this season either... so feel free to shoot any suggestions down in flames.
