I am very pleased to tell you that the earlier, very well meant advice was a direct report from someone at the hospital who had confused two reports, and it was wrong. It has taken some time to get it definitely confirmed, but the young man is in a serious but stable condition, and although injured, is very much alive. I know nothing more than that, but am very pleased to be able to correct the earlier posting and would apologise if my own mistake caused any concerns.

Perhaps there was a blackout as a cyclist knocked down in outside the houses of parliament by a cement mixer, if true, would normally have been jumped on by the media.
