• I'd love to come to Norths but I live in Oxford so It's a bit far to go for a beer, unfortunately!
The last time I did 24hrs was the London - Oxford ride followed by the Dorset Dash, which came in at just over 200 miles with all the running about I did between the rides. But the pace was fairly relaxed on the DD, so I didn't have a lot of food. I'll make sure I have some emergency rations, but I'm hoping the plan is to stop off in towns/villages along the way to grab some tasty pastries etc... ?
So leave at 2300 Friday and arrive in Paris by 2300 on Saturday, French time?

    Ahh Oxford :-)

Food and Sleep are the two biggies (as well as not going into the red to often)... I wouldn't rely too much on the French shops... last time it was a French holiday so only kebab shops were open, and the French do like not working at the weekends :-) Pasta is good! but whatever works for you... Last year it was really hot, so plenty of sunscreen and two water bottles if poss.

That all sounds good though and yeah 23:00 GMT depart (which is 00:00 GMT+1), arrive 00:00 CET... at least that's the plan. Last time we arrived at 5am sunday morning... If we can keep up 16mph+ we'll be sorted.
