Shit- just seen this on the forum! It was I who was the rumor maker Skully spoke of! Had my Witcomb resprayed by Mario couple of months back and he said Barry was doing repairs for him at the moment- he also got my new decals off Barry.
I'm such a nob- cycle past the old shop all the time and seen Barry going in a couple of times around February- had a very brief set of hello's but never more- Should have pinned him down about what was going on. At that time there was still a load of frames/ lugsets/ tubes in the front of the shop, to think that any of that in a Lewisham scrap yard is heart breaking.
Going to give Mario a call on Monday and see if I can track down Barry- just starting a community bike workshop in the arches in Deptford (including some frame building) and was hoping Barry could come down and grace us with some wisdom.
Will report back if i get anywhere with it.
