not too bad but the stem+bar combo seems to suggest that you're not super comfortable with the lo-pro geo
-
• #10432
that's right wibble i can't ride with the original mavic bulhorn or just on top of it not in the horns..
first i put a straight stem but with the bulhorn it was ugly the combo broke the harmony..
then i put this jaguar that respect the frame geometry and the riser which is perfect to ride it on the streets!
i think that even with this setting this bike is very different than a straight one.. very compact very handy.. -

Wet bike:
Surely "dry bike, wet arse and feet"?
-
• #10434
^Do those mudguards work??
-
• #10435
looks nice apart from the super high stem and ridiculous flanges on the grips!
im definitely going to organise a lo-pro ride soon.Yeah, looking for a nice riser stem which doesn't look like ass is not easy. I like the flanges though. Will be keeping an eye on the lo pro ride for sure.

There's gonna be another lo pro ride?
-
• #10437

The harmony of looking like you're operating a jackhammer?

• #10438
are you that chick who was covered in that ficksie magazine recently?
anyway, I think i spotted you today near Poland St.Nope, and nope. :/

Surely "dry bike, wet arse and feet"?
No, it's more about the wide grippy tires (37mm Randonneurs). Don't care much about bit of moisturising.
^Do those mudguards work??
To make it straight - no! :-)

kris, you do have lovely bikes.
the pinarelli is lush and i was admiring the simoncini at wests.
i thought you'd given up on gearing it up though? -
• #10441
Not if I eventually find a moment and spare cash to pick up the Romet from Jim.
I have all the hardware and a new rear wheel needed for the re-conversion of Simoncini anyway. That rear Shamal is not really safe to ride right now.

I don't use it [strike]at all[/strike] on short journeys in the city.
It's a Sunday bike for long rides only. The last time I used it I rode to James's BBQ in Kew.

I think it needs 11sp Campag

I actually removed Centaur from it. I'm going against the recent trends :-)

Lovely Merc sir, very nice paintjob, I'm rather envious! It's a classy looking bike!

Thanks very much! I'm very pleased with it - looks good but above all is so much fun to ride, whether it's a quick hammer across town or settling into something a little longer
