Mrs Digger got this email the day after the first ride, interesting technique to do marketing after the event and it doesn't really promote the rides very enthusiastically.

I am writing to let you know that the new Barclays Cycle Superhighways have now launched. The first two cycle routes run from Barking to Tower Gateway and from Merton to City. They provide cyclists with safer and more direct routes into the city.
