To be honest I would be over the moon if I could go up Zoncolan in a straight line I.e. no tacking up the steep sections.
So would I dude. Next time I'm just aiming for a faster time with no stop, I still have nightmares about sitting at the side of the road blind from exertion. The only saving grace is that I didn't walk.
I'm perfectly serious about trying to do a number of the great climbs next year if you are up for getting beaten repeatedly?
