If you have valid questions, feel free to ask Laura. She was happy to supply all of the detail after I had asked and I'm sure if she knows specifics she will be able to let you know.

you are not looking at the bigger picture are you? think global, my friend.
What is the bigger picture?
Besides, if low wages are the problem, that's something their government needs to fix with legislation. Similarly for poor working conditions. Companies are never going to do that out of the goodness of their hearts.

Heya Object, that article is over eight years old, do you have a link for something more recent?
BTW I'm not complaining or anything, I dont for a second believe that they've stopped paying shit wages for long hours, I'm just interested to read something a little bit more recent, you dont hear much about it in the news any more.

Never mind, I learned how to use the internet myself.

If we all took off the clothes we have on right now for which the manufacturing caused someone to suffer we would all be sat at our computers with not a lot on.
This does not effect me as I only use the internet whilst naked to minimise 'access' time when I find something fruity.

"We are looking for guys who can pass for approx 20 years old so clean shaven is better.
They must have a sporty physique.
They must be able to fit shoe size UK 8.5 trainer.
They must have an urban style."What's this got to do with cycling? Men are being objectified. This thread belongs with "glossy photos"!! You're gonna put males off riding bikes forever tsk...tsk

the shoe rule is crap!
it isn't a rule, it is aesthetics. A size 4 shoe looks too small, a size 12 looks too big. It is all about proportions and in what size the shoe looks best, they are trying to sell the shoe after all.
Just as most bikes you will see in any sales brochures, internet listings etc, are in the medium 55cm range as they just look better than a 47cm or 64cm bike. -

sounds like crap to me.

Urban style:

They must have an urban style.I do when I'm shaven
I look sporty when I don't eat breakfast for a week and smoke cigarettes
Size 8.5?! WTF? Are they looking for a 20yo or 12 yo?
I look urban when I wear grey cotton tracksuit and a silver chain. -

If Addidas used fat, slightly balding men in their late middle age with palid appearances, rosecea, glasses, size 11 feet and looking as though the only exercise they had done in decades was to move between pub and betting shop, I'd certainly be tempted to buy their stuff.

Not me, I only want to buy clothes that make me look like a professional athlete, despite being 17.5 stone and 6 foot (AND A QUARTER OF AN INCH!!!!). If fat people wore Adidas I think I'd just assume that the clothes didn't work and buy Nike instead.

Har har, I wear 8.5 in adidas.
But my interpretation of athletic may be different from their interpretation. Im more a skinny armed, big thighed, round bellied physique of a cycle sprinter or a weightlifter.
Im also a major four-eyes with who wears big wayfarers.
I dont think Ill fit their expectations of a fixe skidder too well, I cannot wheelie either which is probably what they want.
