If you remember, drop me a text when you're a fairly close and I'll roll in with you! I know the canal well!

    Enjoy yourselves whatever happens!

  • des - did you get outward tickets as well for tonight?

It is groupsave, is it not?

  • Some rail companies' websites allow you to groupsave in advance. I did it for Southwest trains before. You make the purchase by card here, then collect at a machine. Enter your card and PIN, but no further debit made.

    FYI, init.

  • It's all about breakfast know; this one looks pretty good for open at 8.00am http://www.foodanddrinkguides.co.uk/bath/same-same-but-different/restaurant/2715/

  • ...so we are going to the Spa at the end, sweet.

Tikita, I rode it recently fixed (45x16), and is more than fine, also since we are avoiding the 'killer' hill this time. Just make sure you bring drinks & food with you as it won't be much open, maybe just one 24h station.

It is an unbeatable route, I say.

i know but this is a nice excuse to take out the "killer" bike again :)

  • @ mech - how long will it take you to get down there?
@ lud - lets sort tickets out at waterloo. no rush. i'll be there at 11pm if we all get there in time we can get 3 x 3 grp saves

  • breakfast looks good but not greasy enough lud.

  • oops. I just bought a 4 at £ 6.50 each.

  • the coffee place is great. visited last year when it was still called jika jika. i think it is still run by the same guy, some ex rugby pro but nothing like a sprots bar.
tim it is certainly not on the greasy side of breakfasts. I got it recommended with the note that "they take their coffee a bit too serious"

  • no probs lud. make sure people don't go buying tickets and double up.

claus - would you recommend it then?

  • No, just the Bath return ones - figured we would just do the regular groupsaves tonight and presumably no hassle with bike reservations

des - did you get outward tickets as well for tonight?

  • okay des - ludwig has 4 tickets outward tonight already. i'd advise everyone to wait until we gather at station. thanks for all your and ludwigs work

  • have a good ride dudes. i know you will.

  • So Jealous

  • there's always the southern hill ride you've talked about....

  • i'm not. i'm going for a run and having an hour on a foam roller.

  • claus - would you recommend it then?

absolutely! coffee and food is great and it's a large welcoming space with some big tables to seat you all.

  • your reco is good enough for me. will miss the grease though

  • Flight delayed, would not of made it... Have a super duper time you lot, maybe bring snorkels for the spa in case you fall asleep and slip down a little.

  • Have a great time...will be thinking of you guys/gals out on the black top tonight

  • cheers for the good wishes all. hope some of you are out hitting some more local blacktop.

reminder for tonight those riding to bath. we meet at Waterloo at around 2300. sort tickets and last minute supplies. we will be getting the direct 23:39, not the 23:15 with changes.

see you all there. bring a bike.

  • your reco is good enough for me. will miss the grease though

you still have the yummy mummies. it's called 'trnc de luxe' for a reason.
