Already my reactionary "Nope, never again" is becoming "Only with sufficient preparation"; though I'm still deciding whether or not hobbling home after caning out bears the mark of a pillock. Note to self: Wait for pain to subside before writing of event. Additional: Don't write anything at all, you'll only regret it later.
Dunno dunno, boring boring. I'm off to buy some gloves.
