Bike looked the business apart from you were cycling on the pavement down the old kent road, coasting, without a rear brake. (just before trafalgar road I think)

This morning, I encountered a bike traffic jam on Stockwell Road. It was only when I got to the lights at the tube station that I realised it was a group of male cyclists perving / admiring the posterior of a laydee cyclist, who was wearing contrasting underwear to her lycra.

yesterday around 2pm at the British Library - middle-aged snooty american-accented nodder having a go at me for riding (at about 5mph, very carefully) through the square at the front of the library. when i politely asked him why, he intelligently respoded "because it's against the rules". Was that last night? I'd waved at Teenslain on Effra Road just before then. I'd forgotten my lights, so was heading home before it too dark. It was only 8pm. Light summer evenings are over already :(

Yeah, that was my depressing thought as I left the lido too (hence more excuses for not seeing Dammit), but I'm hoping it was just the low cloud.

I forgot to say that JimBilly and I shared a fond embrace and declared our undying love for each other outside Brixton Cycles yesterday, as smoke from the burning building next to us made our eyes water. That's my excuse anyway.

i was going to watch people have valves put in them.

i think i might incorporate herne hill, denmark hill on my way to work more often. not for the fondling opportunities, but it's a bit more interesting than the route through brixton.
