  • one is just a dot, the middle one is about 5mm across and the one on the edge left me with sort of crescent moon shape roughly 10mm across, so not huge by any means, but i don't like them being there.

my fingers seized up while they were in, once they were out it just got better over time, thought i'd completely fucked them at one point cus i went on a long ride while they were still in, and then drop something that caught the one on the right and it made it point at the opposite angle, but it's loads better now

still can straighten my little finger as much as my other hand, but its getting there

    anyway.

can tattoos cover scars or does it not take to well in the damaged skin

  • I don't really know to be honest. I have had a couple of scars tattooed over and they've held fine since '99. However I don't tend to do the big keloid scars so it might be an issue if yours are big raised ones.

  • the biggest is slightly indented if anything, nothing is raised though, i'll try and take a picture tonight

  • Your best bet is to talk to an artist about it. I do have friends who have had tattoos over scars and seemed to have held fine.

  • tell you what fella i like the look of that half sleeve, any more photos of it up?

there will be on this thread somewhere. its the escher 3 worlds piece, also done by silvia btw back in '05.

lush doesn't work like that, no rush though.

i've got a tattoo over baby immunising jab, size 10p on left shiulder zero problems.

  • 5hrs, still fresh. silvia z at new wave just awesome!!

that's a pretty amazing bit of inkwork Daleā€¦

  • I love it, really.

  • Me three

  • [QUOTE=drew87;1548789]I broke a couple of bones in my hand a few months back and was thinking of getting something to cover the scars of where they pinned it
any idea if it will work over the scar tissue

If it does work - any ideas what I cover this little beauty with ?

  • I like that - my son reckons I should get RESO next to it so it spells LOSER when I look in the mirror - bless him.

  • Tiny old school bit while awaiting the half-sleeve - one to take me back in one piece from the pub.

  • ^Ahhhh, pretty.

  • I like pretty things. And shiny.

  • Timeless, EEI. Like it.

  • Swallows are awesome, imy 1st tatt was a swallow.
Tomorrow I am getting my elbow done.
For the first time since I booked it (february! Dom @ Family Business) I am thinking it might hurt...

  • It will hurt :P
Just saw the beginnings of my sleeve. Can't wait for september.
Next month will be a simple script across my chest "breathe easy"

  • Elbow KILLS right on the bone/joint!

  • FML :(
Glad I don't have brown eyes.
Aparently blue eyes people have a higher pain tolerance and brown eyes (snigger) have the lowest.

  • Not true! I have brown eyes and can hold higher pain than my blue eyed friends. Cheeky sod.

  • Such a fucking great song^^

  • I want a piece done; a combo of

    and........

Suggestions as to where I might try?
I'd kind of like to keep it local. Anyone got experience with sacred ink tattoo on Acre Lane, Brixton?

    http://www.sacredinktattoo.co.uk/

  • @ Kattie P, my ex had her foot done there (its on the website under black and grey...image 10, butterfly on foot). Line work was solid enough on hers. However her friend had one done on the same day and the ink didn't take at all (didn't go in deep enough??) and had to go back to have it touched up.
To be fair to the guy he did this FOC.

  • KP - you could do a lot better than Sacred Ink

  • It's not often I hear I could do better.... where do you suggest?
