Sounds good, will OK it with the boss and get ready to be schooled.

I tried playing polo a few tears ago, and my elbow wasn't strong enough.
I think it's still probably the case, but since it's on my way home it would be rude not to try it... -

Great typo.
It'll probably be a while before I can play polo owing to elbow issues, too. Are your old injuries still bothering you?

Incidentally there are gasworks on my road, do you need any yellow pipe?
-
• #236
I don't thank you.
Incidentally part II. We should have a loaner polo bike up and running soon from parts kindly donated from forumongers. I'm nearly there, just need a caliper and to build it.
This is technically owned by London Polo so it's not guaranteed to be available all the time, but unless it's needed for something else, I can bring it down with me each week.
Does anyone have a spare caliper brake per chance?

Rear brake? Yes, short reach, the newer type where the nut sits into the frame. Any use?

Hey. So, my brother and I have been playing one on one games on a football pitch for a few weeks (it works because we're rubbish), but fancy playing a few proper games. That's not going to happen in Chelmsford, but neither of us are super familiar with London. Anyone know which of the throw-in spots would be the least nightmarish for a couple of plebs to A-Z it over to?

It depends on when you come, and assuming you get the train to Liverpool St. then you can head North to Downham and Mitch or South to Newington, both are not far from the station. You can catch the East London line to near beginners polo after rush hour which goes from Shorditch (nr L. St.) to Honor Oak (near Camberwell). No courts are that far away really (apart from Wests ;) (Just a bit further than the others from the East).
Easy! -

Awesome, thank you!

No skydancer :( and John H is away for 3 weeks, but we'll definitely still have enough for games.
Let me know if you need a spare mallet people.
