I'm thinking the Garmin should do it fine. Done equivalent daylight miles with mine quite comfortably, but I'm not sure how much the backlight is going to destroy the battery life. (will try and stick to minimal usage, it should only turn itself on to warn of junctions but I might get curious and button pressy)
