  • Really enjoyed my first forum ride and it was cool to meet loads of nice bods. Nice one to G for sorting and to those that actually knew their way around. Will post my pics when I have a minute or 10.

  • Nice one, G, had so much fucking fun today... And ignore the hissy fit, the pain-killers were starting to wear off... x

  • Had a great time... cheers guys for a very nice day. Thanks to west ham for letting piss somewhere nice rather than pissing on millwall

I think my top speed was 31 dead as I chased down one of the Pisti breakaways on the embankment

69 miles for the day for me... might feel that a bit tomorrow

  • Yeah, a lot of miles today... I have no idea how many I did, tho' my group managed to rack up a few extra ones between White Hart Lane and the Emirates... :S
I think today may have actually helped my trapped nerve, same thing happened after the Marathon ride... Spooky...

  • Excellent day. Thanks to Graham for making it happen. Glorious rolling up to the Boleyn!

Also nice to once again to put human faces to forum personas.

  • lol @ John in full neon yellow kit. Like some kind of odd mix between a nodder and a footballer

  • nice one G.

i am now the colour of charlton's home kit.

  • That was a lot of fun. Good pace and some lovely steeds out in the sun. Cheers the the West Hammer (sorry didnt get your name) who gave me a Lucazade at the end when the sun was blazing.

    No worries.

was my first forum ride and i loved it, thanks to the organiser(s?). am paying for it with some ridiculous tan/burn lines. fair skinned irishman and lack of suncream, i cant really complain.
    Josh.

  • Wish I had made it this morning, did the afternoon.
    Great knowing everyone I still hadn't meet ; )

  • hallowed ground

Great ride and riders, nice to meet everyone. Big thanks to the organisers.

West Ham win club of the day award for letting us use their toilets and fill up our water bottles.

    no surprise.

Oh yeah, I looked such a penis in that outfit. It was worth it though, just to see the look on Pisti's face.

Cheers for organising the ride G, and nice to meet everyone I hadn't met before.

I've now got the most ridiculous sunburn, for 10cm between my knees and the bottom of my shorts. Usually I don't need to put sun cream on my legs, but I forgot I usually wear longer shorts.

  • good laugh, and great to ride with alot of friendly faces

  • Excellent day out!
Thanks Graham for organising and to Jonny for keeping an eye on the back.

Jonny, I didn't realise you had wheel problems when you were waiting for the tail coming up to Spurs and I just kept going - sorry about that.

  • Great day's spinning around London with a friendly bunch- enjoyed that a lot. Cheers for organising Pistanator.

  • Yeah, It was a great ride yesterday.

Thanks to Boddie, and the others for holding back for me when i got a flat. For my first ride, it was a great ride!!

Thanks Pisti for organising the ride.

  • Firstly, thanks to one and all for turning up and making it the ride it was, hope you all had a good time
Secondly, MASSIVE thanks to Jimmy for putting together the spokecards, much appreciated - beer(s) waiting when ready and of course my Wing Commander Jonny, who helped with the rear of the ride and keeping people together when needed.
Sorry for the mob that got left behind towards the end from Spurs to Arsenal. None of us realised you'd got caught behind the bus and we just assumed someone in the mob new the route from Seven Sisters - I did tell peopel that was the route we were taking....hey ho

Nice little gathering in the pub afterwards but disappointed they didn't show LTdF, the miserable sod behind the bar had cancelled his July SKY subscription!

My bonce is now glowing a lovely crimson colour and I have wicked shades marks across my boat! NICE! :-$

Thanks again all for making it
