Query: organicorigin http://www.lfgss.com/member4844.html
Has anyone had bad experience with this seller? i.e. Is there a good reason for me to ban him permanently?
I've been advised that he had failed to dispatch some items, but would like some first hand information before I ban him.
I brought some shoes from him months and months and months ago. prompt replies until the money went through, then absolutely nothing at all. I have no idea if there was a problem somewhere, lost in the post, whatever. I emailled and pmed, even offered to get someone to pick them up from him in sheffield if it was easier, but never had anything back. I was always very polite, and left time between enquiries (not just a barrage of abuse!) and I just wanted to know what the score was!
So very much not happy. Makes it even more frustrating that other people seem to have had no problem with him!! It wasn't an expensive item, but I really wanted those shoes! heh.

If I remember correctly, he was also selling the items on eBay and various other forums at the same time AND didn't prefix his sale thread correctly. Cunt!
I hate that.

You must post the classified advert in the Classifieds forum.
You must use a thread prefix if one is applicable.
If you are selling your item via eBay or another site, and the audience is not restricted to the forum membership, then you should NOT post it on here as it will be deleted
Anyway, RPM has a whine that I've got power mad but considering I've only deleted the 'repeated' spammer threads and warned others when I could've just deleted their ads I think I've been more than reasonable. bans RPM

slim4130 is logged with Plod's Crime Reporting tel no during this week, and moving forward too: today the evidence has been given and gone over- the crime is false representation
I suggest others in a similar prediacament take the same route,to try to recover their money or goods.
In my case I can't move on Small Claims as I now have no idea on his address- he was shown the door to where he was working-Bike Rescue, and under the Data Protection Act they can't release his address, but they can to the Police.

I bought a second saddle on here a while ago. etiquette minefield. I only discovered afterwards that it reeked of ass crack and sweat. I can't really see any way to avoid this though unless you are happy to sniff the saddle in front of them. I also didn't want to offend by asking for a refund afterwards though. Happy to say that the scent has gradually faded. Please can we set up a charity fund to reimburse others who have also found themselves in this difficult place.

You are too shy to offend the seller but not too shy to admit you sniffed an awful saddle? Ewwww... Conservative values??? LOL!

Leather which someone's bum had been resting on for quite some time? Sumptuous? Get a life, or at least a new saddle!

You don't have to comment on every thread, Oliver.

I bought a couple of things of organicorigin, most were fine, last wasn't. It was a frame and a few parts to replace my girlfriends stolen bike, met him at a pub in Camden and he seemed sound, as did the frame, until I got it home and tried to strip it, bb seatpost and stem all stuck in! Had to cut most parts off and caustic soda the remains out. Pm'd him about it and he would give me a replacement stem but never did, bit of a stitch up.

Or rather: some people get in trouble and then they need to sell something fast, and they get into more trouble and then they need to sell something even faster. :)
