One piece of important data I did use, was that hardened steel bars (and links) of locks of 16mm and thicker DOES NOT CUT BY USING HAND/ARM POWER ON BOLTCUTTERS. I got that from reading from several different manufavturers, who had carried out their own separate tests, and that was the unconnected finding, from all the different companies. The companies in question were not connected and couldn't have shared this info, as they are competitors. Therefore the data gathered by them could be treated as reliable. That's why I used it. Nothing to do with idiots on YouTube.

Once again, you (singular) have not included all the facts its the type of hardening used. Certain type of hardening makes the steel weaker as it hardens all the way through and can be easier to brake. Please get the right information as manufactures lie to sell to people.
