But what coppi is saying (and always does, gawd bless im) is that if you bid what you think it's worth, you either get it (great!) or some other mug pays more than you fancied paying (that's life). If you are bothered about drawing attention to it, put your bid in very late. If you don't give a toss about gentlemanly rules, sign up to a sniping site. The point remains - fucking about with pennies when you were willing to pay pounds is a chumps game.
