You wouldn't let it lie would you!? I disagree, repetition was always a big part of their comedy. This does not preclude them from being massively original/innovative, which I believe they are (or were... is this your point?).

That stuff is actually pretty funny, just way way way too overdone. Little Britain and Catherine Tate (who I can't bear) have achieved 'dad joke' status now, but if it had never been successful it would have become 'cult' I'm sure.

You get me. Shooting stars jokes were funny, now they're overdone. The only bits that I like are the stupid cut scenes because they're mostly original content, not just rehashed bits you've seen a million times.

Angelos has been the highlight for me since the show restarted. cracks me up every time, he really is brilliant.
