Anybody has problem with the paint's durability?
My Grubb has some places which are quite good and some bits are very flaky.
For example there are chips and scratches on the top tube from the time it was locked outside the pub and the the bike decided to slide down the railings. Nothing drastic - just a surface scuffs on the gloss which I can touch up.
Then there are some nasty spots on both the chainstays and seatstays which have white deep chips. The same for dropouts where paint looks very fragile and brittle. Perhaps the final coat wasn't applied properly, as I can see the difference in gloss?
How's the durability of your paintworks, guys? I'd like to use Mario for another frame. I know powdercoat is more durable, but I need something more special and custom and Mario is the best near me in cheap custom "full service" type jobs.
