Sounds cool to me. If it's cheap enough to ride without saving up and if they take bikes, I'm all up for this. Fuck it, this'd beat the Greenwich Foot Tunnel hands down.
And crossing the river is tricky for bikes once you get that far down the river. You've got Rotherhithe, the old East London Line as was, the foot tunnel or the Woolwich ferry across to the arse end of nowhere. You can't use the DLR unless you've got a folder and you can't use Blackwall Tunnel either.
