You didn't bash anyone, and I'm not knocking you. Just saying that this is the real world and while a symbol that meant peace and love and hand holding for many years in many cultures no longer means that.
People can try to reclaim it all they want but I think it's a losing battle. Millions upon millions died horrible, inhumane deaths under that symbol in the very recent past. That has given it a nasty heft you ain't gonna get rid of.
