    eh? the sushi/salad thing i had was a £5.94... i suppose that's a bit of a splurge for a monday lunch but not that far off the norm is it? its very nice and massively filling too. the (also seriously big) tubs of udon noodle soup with dim sum in the top (bottom pic) are £4.99. not bad for a properly nice, filling and reasonably healthy lunch. and not much more than a sandwich and packet of crisps from pret or whatever.

    you're right though balkisan, i need to make my own lunch more often though. it does add up if you spend £5+ on lunch every day. i used to do the home made thing everyday without fail but i've slacked right off lately.

    in my defence, today i was trying to rectify a mild sulk caused by a long sweaty lunchtime walk into town to buy a "bargain" cast iron grill pan that turned out to be out of stock. so i needed geeing up a bit.
