  • The remake of Taxi was hor*ren*dous.

  • 'Right at your door' is such an utterly, utterly shit film.
A snivelling cunt shrink-wraps the house his girlfriend pays the rent on, doesn't let her in HER OWN FUCKING HOUSE when there's some freaky biological warfare thing going on, he doesn't stop crying all the way through the film! His beard is dripping with snot! I want someone to just fucking shoot him in the end. What a waste of time...

+1 - Couldn't even watch it all the way through, does she die?

  • As far as remakes go, Oceans 11 was half decent, which is a big achievement.

  • shrek 4 seen it yesterday i was disgusted by the crapness

  • this is supposed to be "bad" meaning bad
    not "bad" meaning good :)

    I'm still living in 1992 :)

I thought the remake of clash of the titans was good

  • +1 - Couldn't even watch it all the way through, does she die?

    Oh, even better than that.

    Everyone lives!

Except for the selfish cunt in the house.

For some reason the bit of crap that lands in his kitchen breeds and multiplies in his house, whereas all the other biological crap outside happily gets blown away on the wind. The health police come around and gas him in front of his girlfriend.

I laughed and laughed and laughed.

  • The remake of Taxi was hor*ren*dous.

There's a remake of Taxi? bloody hell.

It's funny how easy it is to know that those film are already shit before we have the chance to see it, Italian Job, Wicker Man, Get Carter (as mentioned) Max Payne etc.

    Max Payne was shit, right?

  • Watched *Eragon *in its entirety last week (i need to be more productive).

Utter utter utter shite. So bad it was captivating. It's mind-boggling how such incoherent drivel gets made.

Imagine Lord of the Rings, but Peter Jackson has brain damage.

  • Yes Ed, there is, with Queen Latifa as the lead...

    Let me.

  • Whoop, I got it confused with the classic Taxi Driver, that'd be the icing on the cake.

Still the remake of Taxi cannot be any good.

At least it had Avril Lavigne on the soundtrack:

YouTube- Avril Lavigne - Keep Holding On

To save it from being utter shite.

    ...right?

  • Hercules in New York ,One of the worst films ive seen, but funny as fuck when Hercules (Arnold Schwarzenegger) goes to see his dad Zeus in the clouds (Central Park NYC) and you can hear taxis and cars beeping their horns in the background.

  • @ Ed - it's only a matter of time before Taxi Driver is remade

The Taking of Pelham 123 - one of the most original NYC thrillers of the 70's - taut dialogue, suspense, brilliant plot, great music - remade with added explosions - meh

  • The Taking of Pelham 123

If you want a doodoo rhyme then come see me.

  • The Princess Bride. Recently rewatched it as I remember it being awesome (prob when I was about 10). It's actually rather rubbish.

  • @dooks: :D awesome tune!
    <3 beasties!

I liked the Rob Zombie halloween remake (although the last 20mins are balls)
Halloween 2 (robzom) is a fucking abortion. Ripping off Friday 13 franchise with no success.

Is there an ignore opinion button on here?

  • Trash Humpers
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1488163/

Harmony Korine basically went hey I can make a really shit movie about anything and people will pay to go see it.

Buddha, you're a good man, but you can fuck right off on that one.

I watch Princess Bride about every three weeks.

    It's ace.

    All the characters are ace.

There's a GIANT in it, for the love of frig.

    Not a CGI giant

    A proper giant.

A win in every respect, that film.

  • I did not expect my opinions of the Princess Bride to be so roundly rejected! Maybe it was just the fact that it failed to live up to my youthful memories...but the pacing/timing was all so...off! It just felt lame, and cheap, even Andre the Giant and his horrendously bad acting and slurred giant speech couldn't save it. I'm sorry.

  • shut up Lucifer youre talking bollocks.

the best bad film I ever saw was 'Armageddon', I know this as it was in 1998, on George st Sydney, it was a cheap tuesday (of course) and I laughed so hard all the way through at Brucies eyebrow world- saving antics, and Livs pouting the smell of the petrol stinking main street afterwards still comes back to me now, 12 years later.

(reading that ^ now it sounds pretty good, better than some of the art house shite I endure these days.)

  • The Thing is on tonight.

    ITV I think.

Fucking brilliant/awful. One of Kurt Russel's (my favourite) best films.

  • ^Brilliant

  • Loved the Thing when I was a nipper
