Yay - first stage that I've been able to watch as it's happening. Feckin lovely terrain. Making me fancy a swim.

Some brilliant comments on Eurosport today:

Cavendish (talking about his teammates helping him) "some of those guys are going to have to climb the mountains". Some? what are you taking the bus or something...

Eurosport commentator (talking about getting a good place in paris): "You could camp, camp as in tent, not camp as in well... camp".

I'm gonna write an email to he Eurosport commentators right now to congratulate them on their thoroughly enjoyable coverage, top stuff.

yes brilliant ride by chavanel... and calm and cool at the interview... no blubbing by the man (unlike cavs baby blubbing)

Also glad to see Evans in a good position - make Lance et al. chase for a change
