ha it happened once with a friend of mine they moved into an old student house found a really nice mixte, sorted it out had it for ages before a girl turned up at the door **asking if the bike she had left 8 months ago was still there and demanded it back. **
Gutted.

this one was leaning against a wall with no seat and two flat tyres and a chain so rusty it wouldnt even turn, i figure I should be alright. + as a bonus it was covered in mould and moss which seems to have stopped the frame and forks rusting.

Well out of order. Shouldn't have given it back to her. Everyone makes mistakes, but 8 months! That's a lot of storage money, probably much more than the bike was worth.
