  • We wouldn't want to lose out on some useful information now, would we?

    Less is more when it comes to pizza.

    Base, tomato sauce, asparagus, prociutto. Pizza for the ages.

    • Lemon zest and sea salt

    However I have been making mine lately with an aubergine pesto base instead.

    I think we all know where you can stick that asparagus.

    I always knew this moment would come.

    You're dead to me.

    Tender asparagus prepared correctly is fucking marvellous.

    I agree, 100%.

    But - On a pizza?

    Delivered by a person on a recumbent bicycle no doubt.

    Asparagus = win.

    Asparagus on pizza = epic fail.

    That is all.

    Green asparagus is inferior to white asparagus. Far more work to prevent it from going green but it's worth it.

    The single best pizza the city can produce is the one I described above from Il Bacio in Stoke Newington. Every other pizza I've had here has been a soggy, fat, doughy affair with fuckloads of cheese. Sort it out, you lot! And do something about the fish and chips while you're at it.

    Actually, I had some lovely fish and chips at the narrow in Wapping last week.

    I had awesome fish and chips last night. From The Big Catch in Beckenham if anyone is interested.

    You only went there as it is one letter away from being your forum name in Italian.

    Il Bacio -> Il Balcio

    Admit it.

    i had some awesome pizza in malta. and some wicked bruschetta in gozo.

    Not as good as they once were though as they changed their flour supplier apparently.
