The "no braks" fixie skidderz or who bomb through traffic willy nilly or the fully brakeless BMXers who nip along half on road (often wrong way/wrong side) and through pavements/pedestrian areas?

umm.. both are stupid. Though I suppose that at least if you're fixed you have some kind of stopping mechanism.

Having ridden a lot of dirt jump on mountain bikes I have a great deal of respect for people riding brakeless bmx.. takes balls, especially when riding transitions. Not on the road though...nonono

my bike got stolen a few weeks back, i still use the fahg that got chopped through just with a bit more cleverly placed tape. it looks good as new...
i was asked by oriental touristy couple near york hall if i was a courier while locking up my bike. i said i wasnt but i secretly took it as a compliment.
this is my second post, i cant wait to escape the nursery.

Stereotyping much. I ride a brakeless BMX and commute on it too, Doesn't mean that I ride on pavements or through pedestrian areas though.

...yesterday i endo-kangarooed over my bars after slamming my front brake on too hard to avoid smacking into the back of a cab that stopped at a zebra crossing in front of me.

i landed on my feet with my bike unscathed too. but looked like a bit of a james blunt to the surrounding spandex brigade, alas.
