Thank you. Where to obtain said item? Evans can't help.
i presume you mean this thing (in top image infront of bearings)?
contact manufacturer/distro as they will be different for different models (e.g. on goldtecs this is just a cover that pops off but on formulas it screws on.)

Often in pop songs, (especially but not exclusively the black american sort) I hear the "shorty" being said quite a lot.
What does this mean? It seems to me like a pet name for a small child, yet the contexts of the songs are not at all relavent. Who is Shorty?

Shorty is an attractive girl/girlfriend, or a guy who is "new to the game"

Is my bottom bracket finished?
I feel like I'm pedalling through jelly a lot of the time, and when I spin the cranks, there's clicks and vibrations and it'll only do a few rotations
The rear crank is a 2 month old grande compe with a euroasia cog and the chain is about a month old (also been lubbed) BB is what I'm thinking but a second opinion would be appreciated.
-
• #1415
Take the chain off the chainring, then you'll be able to properly feel exactly what's going on in the BB. The symptoms sound like excessive chain tension, by the way, assuming they are present when you spin the cranks with the chain still in place.

• #1416
Thanks for that, I'll slacken off the chain a bit and see how it fairs tonight. Will have to wait for the weekend to take a serious look at the BB.
Thanks for the advice!

Anyone heard of the "Italian" sofa company Mattucci?....I've been approached by a friend to sell one.
After a quick google the site looks pretty dodgy and the retail outlets are all in East London...
Any ideas? -
