All this aftercare stuff is a big fad in the tattooing world when I first got a tattoo in 95 ish I was told don't use Vasiline you may as well use axel grease. Savlon was a favorite back then then it was preperation now its that Bepanthen the latest thing now is to wrap with cling film works as all the big scab's that you were tempted to pic off as scab's can be showerd of as a slime I was advised to use cling film for 24 hours and that's it, was orignally used on burns victim's. At the end of the day if some who has just had there first one was told to use peanut butter and dog shit they more than likey would
