I thought I'd post up a picture of my current project so far...
Its a Columbus SLX Eddy Merckx Team Motorola TT Frame that I've had for a while, and I have been slowly recruiting bits and bobs for it, It's going to be a wall hanger really - but it's a fun project.
The bars/stem are only palced on/in - so obviously bar angles etc aren't right.
Just lacking DT shifters and a Campag seat binder bolt and I'm done (other missing bits already en route)
That looks amazing. I love that Motorola colour scheme.
Have you sourced a Campag seat binder bolt yet? I've probably got a spare one you can have if you want. PM me if you're interested.

Nearly finished my Holdsworth.
I need to ditch the brake hoods and get a clamp on. Then leather bar tape and I think I'm done.
Rode to Portsmouth and back last Saturday (from Brighton) And it was super comfy and fast enough to keep up with a geared Colnago.

Why not get something like this instead of a cross lever?;

Don't worry 'Skully' the wicked Triumph head badge was very very carefully removed with hairdryer and gentle persuasion, and has safe place on sticker backing until the build is done and then its back in pride of place, and not trashed, although the foil type TT decal were all scuffed to buggery so got binned on the stripping down.....
Fear not !!!
Aha! Well done you.

ok so need advice: I get the rear wheel on to notice the line line isn't perfect, so I change round the spacers to get the chain line right but now the rear wheel is distinctly off centre. I'm thinking a slightly off chain line is a better option that the wheel being off to one side
Its making me think round peg, square hole
-
• #31297
meh, i rode with a wheel off to one side for a few months for the exact same reason, and i had no problems. preferred it to the bad chain line. I'm sure i'll get shot down though for being irresponsible and dangerous!
-
• #31298
I did the same. 120mm hubs, spaced to 126mm. 2mm of spacers on the non-drive side and 4mm on the drive side. Meh.

• #31299
I think I have worked a compromise: swheel ever so slightly off centre, and the chain line ever so slightly out
No wonder I vote Liberal
