I'm off the bike so partially out of boredom, partially because I won't be doing the exercise I have been, and partially out of the desire to figure out what's happened to me since moving to London (I've put on a lot of weight in the three years since leaving Canada), I've started a food diary. The first day which I recorded what I ate/drank I discovered that 1/3 of the day's calories came from beer. And that was a lightish night. I've often have days/nights drinking two to three times as much (basically more than my entire daily recommended calories in beer alone). And I can drink like this (or more) 3-6 days a week easily.
The mystery has been solved. So now I'm trying to drink less (and keep active even though I'm off the bike).
For me, the problem is beer.
