    i'm on a mission to lose the love handles and belly island (as it is cruelly referred to my the missus when i'm reclining in a bath) i've sprouted since finishing training for my swim in april. i went on a beery bender for a couple of months which was the main cause i'd say. that and the drastically reduced commute.

    am trying to deal with it by swimming more, bi-weekly wheezes round the block and taking detours and long after work rides.also trying to manage portions better, cut out some carbs (like not always having bread or potatoes with meat and/or veg dishes) and keeping an eye on the schoolnight tinnies.

    seems to be working... very slowly.

    oh and staying away from crisps and biscuits. they are occasional treats now rather than daily occurances. sucks though as i love my food, a carb junky, and quite prone to balooning up if i don't feep an eye on it.
