yes. when i bought RHCP's 2006 collector's edition Stadium Arcadium the first thing i did was copy the CDs and listen to copies only. somehow i managed to make exact copies :) maybe due to digital character of an issue :) these andel & co look "the same" only from like 20 feet or smthn. no good, sorry Ed :)
also, what about stuff like 80-ies dura-ace and sugino for instance? esp NJS stamped? are they flimsy as well? (serious question)
