Also I know I said i would prefer if the Brum people came here next weekend, but as Cambridge are going to them then we can't fuck them all around, we'll just have to miss the fixie skid off

Maybe we all need to join, and pay our dues, which i think london have at like £10 or somethign a year? then theres a pot for settign up a website n shizzle

sorry, was gettin confused with the other london tourney. we should book our tickets this week, last time i bought a ticket for brum on the day it was £25 single!

Am back from my C2C but about to go off to Rotterdam for the TdF :-) - but am keen to help pull all the diverse energies together to ensure MCR Polo get's stronger for the near future.

Can I suggest we hold a (reasonably organised) meeting at the end of July/early August to give everyone a chance to help shape the way in which we plan to go about this. I propose that Chan, myself and one other run this first meeting (without prejudging who should go on to have any future roles or responsiblities) and that we should all prepare or contribute (prior or at the meeting) the key elements, concerns and opprotunities we personally feel shopuld be covered by any new organisation.

As a meeting starter, the things I would want to discuss and develop include:

1. 2011 Calendar of MCR Events
   
2. New players recruitment
   
3. Winter arrangements inc. Winter Throwin League
   
4. Xmas/NY Open Tournament at Levenshulme
   
5. Fundraising/grants - how and why/merchandise - LBS and others sponsorship
   
6. Youth/schools links
   
7. Courts - where/when we play - gaining official recognition
   
8. Coaching/training
   
9. Communications - web/FB/Twitter etc.
   
10. 'Roaming Polo' - linking with other regions on a regular basis
    
    

Post up if you want to be the 'one other' to help manage this first meeting.

Please also post up issues/concerns here that you want included on the agenda, to make sure we get through everything and can move forwards qucikly.
