Because you can lock your bike with it in places where others don't reach, it's really great.
I don't know a stronger Kryptonite lock? Just because it's large does not mean it's more prone to leverage attacks. There are two M18, a wide and long and a narrow and very long, I have the narrow one. You won't fit a car jack in there, for example. The smaller leverage-proof mini Kryptos all have 16mm bars as far as I know, so they are easy to cut with a battery powered hydraulic bolt cutter.
