Three hours out and around Epping; rather pleased with my fitness after a week and a half off.
I could not but help notice the poor state of many of the roads, especially from Theydon to Toot Hill and Ongar: potholes, ditches and cracks big enough for a 25mm tyre to sink into. I doubt they will be repaired before the winter.
