Can I ask a question regarding hayfever;
I've never suffered from hayfever before but have recently had a really blocked up nose/ throat and my ear is constantly ringing (hurted at first but now just annoying), my question is does this sound like hayfever symptoms or something else?
Is it an itchy/scratchy sort of hurt, or a swollen and throbbing sort. If it's the former, that's like my hayfever - I get itching from the tree pollen (starts around Valentines Day some years) then that goes away and about a week ago I started feeling dull, heavy, aching in my joints and a few days ago it had become a sore throat, perma-semi-blocked nose and a slight hissing/roaring sound in my ears. If it's the latter, it may be an infection, so get yourself to a doc. Bright yellow snot is a give-away sign of infection.

aye, hayfever = nose pissing snot like water.

Blocked up nose/throat, of the infected (i.e. green snot) variety is often a knock-on effect of hayfever. The immune system eventually succumbs to the idea that you've got a cold, whether you initially realise it's hayfever or not, and you get one.

Well the snot is not normal, everytime I cough I can feel it and my ears have been ringing for almost a week now.
Off to the docs tonight.

I think ever bit of pollen from every tree and every plant in all of London has gone into my eyes and my nose alone today! I need a bike with a hyperbaric chamber attached to it.

Have you seen Mick's eyes today? Poor boy. Either he's done loads of pot this morning or it really got to him.
The yard outside LMNH is caked with the green stuff. -

Still drug free but really suffering today - others i'm with who're on meds are suffering too tho. I'm abroad from Cov though (Manc) so on the local honey remedy right now to see if that'll help...

Classic sufferer of this.
Worse is an itchy, red like ribbed condom face, needing to sneeze but you can't then not being able to breathe....
......sainsburys to a cracking hayfever relief for a pittance - if you take one everyday throughout the season it helps ALOT.

As a mild sufferer I take just one of the milder Benadryl 3 a day tablets and that will sort me for a day. A pack of 24 tabs lasts me a couple of years. Last year I was hardly touched by any symptoms but this year seems a lot worse (already popped a pill taday). I've only noticed symptoms over the last week or so.

Have you tried homeopathy?
-
• #243
I did rub my face on the side of a tree but it wasn't very comfortable. One of those "cure's worse than the ailment" sort of situations.

You're doing it wrong.
You rubbed too much Pure Tree on your face.Try Squirrel shit first. If that's not effective, try rubbing a bee on your face.

I'm using 3 year old eye drops.
The stinging means that they're working, right?
Anyone?
Is there anyone there?
I can hear you - I know you're there somewhere.
If I know my science, and I think I do, then there is probably a correlation between the stinging of a bee to the face (which Dr. Day-Moe has approved of) and the stinging of your eye drops. Maybe they're processed bee stingers?

No homeo.

It's more likely that the active ingredient, 5-alpha-hydroxy-likeiknowwhatthatis, has degraded in the "poor"storage conditions. Given that it's been open, for three years, in something less than sterile conditions. I would say that homeopathic wankers would recommend these drops as supremely active.

does noone else get that itchy throat thing where you scratch it internally that makes you sound like a walrus coming into season? Or the itchy ear canal that scratch so much that your ear get infacted everyother week?
Or fits of sneezing that burst the blood vessels in your nose bringing the blood/mucous mix 70/30%?^
That is suffering -
