I've been enjoying Big Maggy's commentary for the Dauphine and Suisse and stuff. He obviously knows his shit and likes talking about it (bit running, good colour blend though). There's an interview with Liggett that explains why they do that; his main contract is Versus and whenever they are taking an feed he has to Lanceophile his commentary for them then switches to normal service for everybody else when they are not.

He goes way beyond what is reasonable. He'll look even more of a twat when Armstrong goes down.

I watched some of the ToC on Eurosport HD and it looked fantastic. Much easier to see who is who in fast action (decents / sprints / breakaway attacks)
