Mumble's recommendation of the fenix is a good one, can't remember the full name for it though (it not a bicycle light in the strictest sense).
I was a little concerned about battery life, but had no issues with batteries dying suddenly, they were only Tesco's own brand so nothing special.
That's one thing bother me about the V1, there's no incidation on whether the battery might die, it just turn off without any kind of warning, best thing to do is to have rechargable battery and carry some spare (or pop down to the local newsagent for some AA's).
If it have those little LED that change colour when the battery is about to run out like the Exposure, then it would be perfect.
