Right, I'm going now to the Rapha thread to slag them off a bit. Eggpie must give me that stowaway jacket "to test" eventually if they care about their brand.

As an independent and free-thinking, free-speaking, citizen could I just say that without my Foffa my presidency of the United States of America would have been in mortal danger. Thank you, and God bless you.

Hi, I am real. Yes I've only posted a few times all about Foffa because I signed up specifically to give my opinion, and as I said previously, there is a lot of negativity on this forum.
If in doubt just go to the flipping shop and try out some bikes!
So you only joined to voice opinion on a particular shop and you are capable of turning up at exactly the right time to voice that opinion? You're either watching the forum 24/7 to add opinion about a shop you use. Seems a bit odd when you haven't commented on anything else.
Or you're not a real person.
Or (And this is most likely), you're a friend/associate of the owner. Defending his shop becuase he asked you too.
You surely must agree that it's rather odd that the three customers who responded on this thread within the first 24 hours have less than 10 posts between them. All of which are with respect to this shop?

I wrote it before (or maybe I only dreamt about it), that there's definitely a market for Foffa bikes.
The only reason why I'm personally weary of the brand are Dani's PR faux pas as above ("defend my bikes and you will get free drinks").All shops an mechanics have good and bad days and all make mistakes. Every bike shop has to correct mistakes and errors of other bike shops. I mean, the same with cars, boilers, decorators etc. How many times have you heard the "Who the f... put it together before?" question coming from the tradesmen?
Dani obviously is willing to take in all the critique, but every brand needs time to establish itself - it's not going to happen straight away. Only time will tell if his venture is successful. It's not like it's the only shop in the village.
Seriously even 50 people on some niche internet forum can't bring down an established business. Was Gordon Brown bothered about comment on the Daily Mail website? Ok, he lost the elections :-)
There are thousands of potential fixie skidders in East London who don't have budget to get a carbon track frame. As for the reviews. Why people who actually own the new Foffa frame (or the whole bike) write something more apart from it being nice? Opinions from those who own older conversions from Dani are not really valid anymore as Foffa stepped up their game.
This is the most sensible post I've read on any Foffa thread so far.
We just ate our delicious roasted piri-piri corn-fed chicken... Nom...
