    In other news- I bit the bullet and bought some running shoes yesterday.

    I am, officially, going to give this running thing a go.

    My target is to do a proper distance triathlon and not utterly humiliate myself- so I am guessing that I should be training for that distance, i.e. 10K?

    Or is the idea to train for a longer distance as you'll have swim and run before pulling the trainers on?
