  • I don't think Cavendish was at fault. It was a 50/50. **Infact Haussler ran up his front wheel so was slightly behind. **When sprinters are pushing that hard they take on a path like a fish so the front wheel inevitably goes wide for the next down thrust. It's just unfortunate they were both in sync at this point on the same piece of tarmac.

    Exactly. Cav came into his side, trying to take out his line and force himself into a winning position. That = dangerous and against the rules.
