  • That "Pinarello" could be a Batavus, like the one used by the Batavus amateur team and the Dutch national team.
The picture below is a small one.

It looks like your right... :) thanks for the info..

  • Nearly finished now

Got a few bits still to do,

    -Cut the axles flush
    -Drop or replace the bar/stem
-Buy a better pump, probably Zefal
-Eventually find the same rim and rebuild the front wheel with stainless steel spokes because the chromes bubbled.

  • Hi all... first post, first fixie.

Would not sure if this is the right place to put this, but wanted to show everyone my first fixie... hope you like.

It seems, judging by google, that some great riders used that frame.. :) Still havn't figured out what Columbus tubeset it was build with though.

I guess some danish rider was just sponsored by Pinarello and Mavic, seems to be the only logical reason to make a fake Pinarello... :) I'll ask the seller if he knows who used that frame when I go get it in a couple of weeks.

Perhaps the chrome is still intact under the paint on the fork.

Oh, as a bonus, a photo of the other frame I'm picking up along with it, a very un-fake Concorde:

  • the colnago's all in bits and i don't know how to build it boo hooo... X(
