I'm going to pick up this frame - and a Concorde LoPro as well - later this month.. if all goes well.
Now, the Concorde is easy to identify.. But that Pinarello has me puzzled.. I have been searching and searching for info on what year and what tubing it might be.. Not even sure it's a real Pinarello. I was thinking it looked like a repaint, but it seems Pinarello actually was using frames painted all in one color with no chrome details sometimes in the 80's.. And I suspect this is a late 80's design.
Anyone seen a frame like this before? Notice details like the shifter brace-on that seems to be mounted on the top of the downtube instead of the side, with a small hole for internal cable routing.. aerodynamics? :)
Since I already own a (heavy) Mavic Challenger disc and a (light) Mavic 3G front it does look like the perfect excuse to start collecting Mavic-components.. doesn't it ;)
