other than giving it a good clean up the only things i want to change are the brakes+ the tires and bar tape will need replacing.

the gearing is made by SImplex ? it shifts pretty fast without any excessive noise.

good thinking, with some proper clean and some maintenance, it should be running smoothly in no time.

I don't know if it's made by Simplex, it look quite modern and shiny, and the photo isn't big enough to able to tell, I'm just saying that it doesn't look like the lower end peugeot with basic stuff, like the seatpost for instance.
