I really feel for you too, having read all your posts on this. As someone who is just about to get back into cycling, I'm now kind of shitting it about all these jackings. I live in Stokey, which can be pretty bad anyway, especially round the High St or down Kingsland Rd, but my ride to work is straight past that skatepark in Camden...
On a positive note, I once got a brand new Aprillia scooter nicked on Caledonian road. Some thieving teens hotwired it, and razzed it onto the estate there. As it was just days old, it was still restricted and only did about 30. The fact I ran after them, and the fact it was low-speed put them off, and they left it revving on a pile of bricks. Sometimes, you can get these things back.
I'll be keeping an eye out too.
